With the start of spring in New Orleans, the Crescent City invites visitors to indulge in its rich cultural tapestry and iconic festivities, including the renowned New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and beloved French Quarter Festival. As always, there is no better place to kick of a New Orleans celebration than Four Seasons Hotel New Orleans, where visitors can discover the best of the city’s culture, cuisine and entertainment all under one roof.
This spring, Four Seasons Hotel New Orleans is introducing new gastronomic experiences, giving travelers even more reason to visit, including:
- Oysters Take Flight: Board a seaplane for a scenic flight over New Orleans and the coastal marshland of Louisiana down to the mouth of the Mississippi, where the river meets the gulf. Just off the coast of Grand Isle, guests will be greeted by Ryan Anderson of Little Moon Oyster Ranch (also known as the Oyster Daddy) in the brackish waters known to produce the largest abundance of oysters in the world. Learn about the history of the Delta region on your trip out to Little Moon Oyster Ranch and see up close what it takes to raise oysters from tiny larvae to restaurant size. Then taste freshly shucked oysters straight from the sea for an experience like no other. When you return to the Hotel, enjoy lunch in Chemin à La Mer with a customized menu highlighting Gulf Coast seafood.
- Celebrate Like a Local: Friday lunches are different in New Orleans. This festival season, guests are invited to indulge with Four Seasons Hotel New Orleans Festive Fridays Kit, enhancing their lunch reservation at Miss River with live entertainment, table décor, fascinators and festive accessories to help guests dress in theme.
- A Refreshed Miss River: This spring, Chef Alon Shaya’s restaurant Miss River will debut several new experiences from him and his partner, restaurateur, Emily Shaya. With a refreshed look, new behind the counter experiences with Chef Shaya featuring bites and beverage pairings, a brand new cocktail menu putting a luxurious touch on the classics and the introduction of a pizza oven, the refreshed Miss River will be a truly unique New Orleans experience.
