This interesting blend of umami and spice will pair nicely with spicy lamb dishes. The nose is all red fruit, bing cherries and raspberry. The palate shows a little darker, with black cherry, licorice, and an underlying umami soy/tar. The mid-palate has a big pop of allspice, an addition from the fruits from the Judean Hills. Drink with with lamb kabobs. Recommended. 89 points.
