The nose smells like a fine chocolate bar with black cherries. Darker fruit, blueberries and boysenberries, show on the palate, joined by vanilla and rose petals. Mint and tobacco leaf show on the mid-palate. Tannins are a bit rigid in this young wine. Drink with a good burger with onion

The aroma of violets simply explodes out of the glass. The violet carries over to the palate, where it dances with raspberries,  powdery tannins, and hints of smoked meat. This is overwhelmingly floral, with lovely red fruit and interesting tertiary flavors. Drink with beef skewers with chimichurri sauce. Highly Recommended.
