The nose is spicy, with cedar, blackcurrant, and a touch of vanilla. The mouth-feel is silky smooth. The palate leads with soft black fruit, blackcurrant leading to blackberry. Sweeter blueberry shows on the mid-palate. The finish lingers, with spice box and coffee. Tannins are dusty, acids bright. This is a food-friendly Cabernet that would pair as well with stuffed pork chops as steak. Highly Recommended (92-94). DH
