This wine is produced by a remarkable cooperative of 224 families that was founded in 1908 in the Northern Italian mountainous territory of Alto Adige, also known as Südtirol. It’s a lovely every-day wine made with indigenous lagrein grapes. Red fruit and flowers in the aroma. Sweet red fruit and an uncomplicated palate. Mild tannins and acidity.
