Grippy and zippy, this moderately priced Tempranillo will spice up any table. The color is rust, red with a touch of orange. Cherries, backed by hints of smoke and vanilla, come through on the nose. On the palate it is meaty and fruity, cherries again, supported by smoke, charred beef fat, and vanilla. Tannins are mild, with a gentle grip, while acidity is just a bit racy. Drink with roast pork with spiced cherry sauce. Recommended. 89 points. DBH
