To bid on any item in the catalogue, please click on the picture and enter your bid in the comments for each unique lot.
As we create individual lots, they will be posted here, with a link to the individual lot. Individual 750ml bottles will be collected into larger lots. Large format bottles will go up right away as individual lots. Some auction lots will start “hot,” others will go hot once the bidding reaches suggested retail price. All lots will go “hot” after seven days on site. Once an auction lot goes “hot,” it ends when we go 24 hours without a bid. Auction lots that are “hot” are noted in the Catalogue. If we get into a bidding war between two or three people at the end we won’t make everybody wait a day, we will schedule a bid at a set time agreed upon amongst the contestants (and anybody else lurking and waiting, but interested). The winning bidder will be expected to pay shipping unless the lot description states otherwise (and many do).
Palate Press: The online wine magazine will not accept payments from the auction winners. Instead, it will request that winners make their payment directly to the American Red Cross, Haiti Relief and Development,* using the email WineForHaiti@Palatepress.com and the business name “Palate Press.” We will receive confirmation of your contribution via email. This is done to assure bidders that all contributions go directly to the American Red Cross, Haiti Relief and Development. We may ask for a separate payment via PayPal for shipping for lots that do not specificy free shipping.
