In their shiny silver and rose-colored, metallic bottles, these two Sterling sparkling wines are definitely recommended as table decorations – and the wines are also a pleasure to drink.
Crafted with medium mousse, both wines have lovely, appley elements in their aromas and flavors.
The sparkling Rosé carries hints of McIntosh in the aroma. The palate has notes of gently baked apples and baking spices. The wine is lightly creamy, fresh and pleasant all around. And in color, this rosé more gold than pink.
The Blanc de Blancs is easy to drink, with a medium body, apple aromas and flavor notes ranging from fresh apples to homemade applesauce. A note of honey also runs through the palate and strengthens in the finish. The wine feels light and creamy. It is a clear, light gold color.
