It’s such a pleasure to relax into this Chardonnay that, despite being made in California, is quite Burgundian in style.
This wine is full bodied, with beautifully balanced elements of fruit, oak and acidity. There’s a touch of honey, then peach skin on the end palate and into the finish, encompassed by surprisingly lightly-perceived acidity. Earthiness, wood, and a tang of citrus round out the flavors.
Drink with cream soups, chicken, or other autumn and winter meals of simple meat and/or vegetable dishes.
