The nose is earthy , with cherries and mocha over loam and mushrooms. On the palate it is deep, earthiness under chocolates and cherry. Acids show on the mid-palate as it brightens to add high-toned red fruits, along with a tiny cayenne-pepper tingle on the tongue. This is a very pleasant wine from Pommard clones. Drink with duck. Highly Recommended (90). DH
