Just plain delicious, this marvelous wine may give you new ideas about what can be done with Pinot Noir on the German side of the border. The nose is gorgeous, chocolate covered cherries, coffee with cream, and raspberries. Black raspberries, wild cherries, mocha, and a bright bite, acid freshness with white pepper and the tiniest pinch of cayenne, and flow through the palate in waves of different flavor combinations. Drink with filet with sage beurre blanc. Very Highly Recommended. 96 points.
