The Cocina Blend is literally “The Kitchen Blend”, almost everything but the kitchen sink in theory. I tasted this as a media tasting presented by VineConnections, a local importer that specialized in Argentinian wines. Bonarda what Argentina calls Charbano, adds a nice dark back bone. Run out and buy this wine right now! It was dark and inky, with lots of pepper and spice, with a fig and plum finish touched with smoke. There were lots of blackberries, vanilla, and a chewy structure. It had a kiss of oak and vanilla, after being aged in 20% new Oak (70% French, 30% American) for 10 months. This is a steal.
