This opens with apples and pears dipped in honey, a lovely lemon background with great acidity, and a mouth-coating feel and lingering finish. Residual sugar is apparent, but not overwhelming. It is food-friendly enough to drink with almost anything other than red meat. Pork chops are highly recommended.
