Deep opaque colors, inky black in the depths. The mouth feel is very soft, the fruits soft and supple. Blackcurrant is mellowed by deeper black fruits, mulberry and elderberry. It also has hints of eucalyptus and mint. Tannins are sweet, the finish long. Acids are a bit short, indicating it might not have great cellar life, but who cares? What’s not to like? It is drinking wonderfully right now. Only 300 cases were made. Drink with brisket if you can wait for Passover, or drink with a filet right now.
