Inky dark and almost impenetrable. A nose of tart raspberry, black cherry, plum, and blackberry jam with notes of black pepper, and hints of sensual smokiness. Ripe jammy raspberry, blackberry, currant, and cola balanced with notes of cedar, anise, black pepper, and cocoa on the palate. A full-bodied mouthfeel and big bold tannins with a long mocha and spice finish. This is a big, big wine and at least an hour decanting is recommended. Pair with a juicy porterhouse steak. With only 225 cases made, this would be an awesome gift for someone or a treat for yourself! For an extended reviewvisit Another Wine Blog.
