The color is a lovely bright gold. On the nose, honeycrisp apples, fresh pears, and vanilla come through. The palate leads with apples and pears, but moves quickly on the mid-palate to Meyer lemon and Key lime, with enough toasty barrel effect to give hints of pie crust. This is delicious, tight, sharp, well integrated. Drink with lobster mac and cheese. Highly Recommended. 91 points. DBH
