2010 Hosmer Riesling Vintner’s Reserve

On the nose this wine showed fresh-cut apples with a very light background of tropical fruit, pineapple and banana, with a hint of ginger. On the palate it is very tart, tight, almost all lemon juice and lemon pith, with apples far in the background. Some ginger appears on the mid-palate and lasts through the finish, but the overriding impression is tart lemon. Drink with fried chicken. Not Recommended (80). DH
