2009 Malibu Rocky Oaks Estate Cabernet Franc

The nose shows blueberry pie filling, blackcurrant, and vanilla. On the palate, blueberry pie and blackcurrant lead. Tobacco leaf shows on the mid-palate, but is quickly overwhelmed by vanilla. Acids are light. Sweet tannins and sweet vanilla linger on the mid-palate. Drink with barbecue bacon burger. (84). DH
