Palate Press Wine of the Week: 2010 Remy Pannier Rosé d’Anjou

The perfect little wine for light meals like chicken or fish with salad. The nose has peaches, flowers and minerality, and a nice tinge of chalkiness. This is a very fresh-feeling wine, with some apparent residual sugar. The fruit is upfront, then some mild, grapefruity acidity kicks in under the fresh, young red fruits on the end-palate. Only 10.5% alcohol. Highly recommended. BSE

This sounds like a lovely new Rose D,anjou. I love drinking rose in the south of France and will be there this summer. I’ll be sampling this before then however
Always good to see a new Rose D’anjou coming on to the market – I’ll be tracking this one down
