This lot will now go to the highest bidder, after a full business day passes without a new bid. The earliest this could go, if there are no other bids, would be 9 a.m. Eastern on Wednesday, December 21, allowing one full business day, December 20th, to pass with a hot lot. Good luck everybody! 2006 Gemstone Facets WHO: Gemstone Vineyard WHAT: Red Bordeaux Blend WHERE: California, Napa Valley WHEN: 2006 SIZE: 1.5L 92-94 Points Robert Parker Jr., Wine Advocate A blend of equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot with a small dose of Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc.” Much more dramatic, richer and more opulent than the 2005, but not losing any of its underlying elegance is the dark ruby/purple-tinged 2006 Facets. This complex, pure red could easily pass for a fine Bordeaux. 2007 Tamber Bey Rabicano Deux Cevaux Vineyard WHO: Tamber Bay WHAT: Red Bordeaux blend WHERE: California, Napa Valley WHEN: 2007 SIZE: 1.5L Thomas Brown, the winemaker, was the youngest winemaker to score two perfect “100 point” scores from Robert Parker Jr.’s Wine Advocate. This premiere blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot comes from one of the best vintages in Napa in memory, and the large format bottle will allow for slow and graceful aging, for those who can wait. 2003 Ramey Cabernet Sauvignon, Jericho Canyon Vineyard WHO: Ramey Wine Cellars WHAT: Cabernet Sauvignon WHERE: California, Napa Valley DESIGNATION: Jericho Canyon Vineyard WHEN: 2003 SIZE: 1.5L 93 Points Robert Parker Jr., Wine Advocate The 2003 Jericho Canyon from a 40-acre parcel of vines at the base of Mount St. Helena, is a blend of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, and 3% Cabernet Franc. This is David Ramey’s homage to Pauillac. With a big sweet nose of white chocolate, crème de cassis, cedar, spice box, and high-quality smoky oak, it is full-bodied, rich, and tannic with notes of chocolate and espresso in the mouth. This wine also needs several years of cellaring and should last 15-20 years. RESERVE: $350MINIMUM BID INCREMENT: $50 Please submit your bid in the comment section, below.
