2007 Park Lane Winery Cabernet Sauvignon David Honig October 7, 2010 Tasting Notes 1 Comment A vegetal palate, green pepper, tobacco, some eucaplyptus, but most of all, just unripe “green,” all flavored with enough wood treatment to call it an “oaksident.” Tannins are slightly rough. The finish is tart, bordering on sour. Not recommended. WHO: Park Lane Winery WHAT: Cabernet Sauvignon WHERE: Sonoma County, California WHEN: 2007 HOW MUCH: $13 http://tfo-wow.blogspot.com Richard Best I’m curious about this word “oaksident”. I’ve never seen it before — and I am a wine lexicographer. Please explain.
