Meg,

It would actually be more accurate to say “24 hours and I get around to noticing.” The rest of the Palate Press staff is working on the magazine. I am handling the auction myself, so some things just fall to dumb luck. The ultimate goal, of course, is to raise as much for Haiti as we can, so if you want to bid, go ahead. I will close this one this evening at 6 pm Eastern, unless there is a new bid. Fair enough?

What a wonderful idea. Not quite sure how this works. I am hoping that Lot # 52 is open for bids. I would like to join in the bid war. Tell me when and how.
